Bodrum to Gocek (or Vice versa)

Board your private charter gulet in the bustling, bohemian town of Bodrum where a lively cosmopolitan restaurant and nightlife go hand in hand with a rich ancient history, some of the remains of which can be seen at the Mausoleum, the spectacular Castle of St Peter and the world famous Museum of Underwater Archaeology. From Bodrum set sail to the ancient harbour of Knidos where the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas meet. The ruins of temples and theatres at this dramatic location date from Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods and are clearly visible from your gulet’s anchorage. Further on, explore parts of the green and untouched Datca Peninsula at Palamut, a small village and bay with crystal clear water and a sandy beach, the pretty harbour of Datca town and pineclad Bencik Bay. Continuing south east you’ll cruise to some beautiful bays and sleepy coastal villages of incredible beauty such as Selimiye, Bozburun and the Hellenistic citadel at Bozukkale. The last leg of the cruise sees stops at Kadirga and Ekincik - from where you can hire a small boat to explore the Dalyan river delta, spectacular rock tombs at Caunos, and Iztuzu beach where Loggerhead turtles lay their eggs. On to Aga Liman before finishing in the yachting haven of Gocek.
